Here's what you need to know.

Wheelie Good Wood delivers seasoned Australian hardwood in reusable 240L wheelie bins, cut to a standard 30cm length. We offer two cuts: Standard Split (about the size of a loaf of bread) for most fireplaces and wood heaters, and Double Split (between the size of your wrist and a wine bottle) for smaller or more controlled burns. Not sure how much you need? One bin holds the equivalent of around 7 bags of firewood, and to size it to your heater, check the kW output on your appliance's compliance plate or manual. You can order as a one-off or set up a no lock-in subscription, weekly, fortnightly, every 3 weeks, or every 4 weeks, so you're never caught short. When your bin's empty, we swap it for a full one on your next scheduled delivery.

About our firewood
Our firewood is sustainably harvested & available in Redgum and Ironbark, which is fully seasoned, dry & ready to burn. We offer a standard size for open fireplaces & wood stoves & double split which is perfect for chimneas, wood heaters, small Victorian fireplaces or pizza ovens.

If I pay for express delivery, how soon will I get my order?
As long as you place your order before 4pm, you will receive your order the next business day.

How much firewood is in each wheelie good wood bin?
The bins are .24 cubic metres in size so 4 x wheelie bins are .96mtres cubic metres & when we stack them a little higher than make approx. just over 1 cubic metre.

What is the weight of each load in a bin?
This can vary depending on the size of firewood, how it's packed and how dense the firewood is. As a general guide, a bin of Redgum will weigh approximately 110kg to 140kg, while a bin of Ironbark will weigh approximately 130kg to 150kg. Please note, this is not an accurate measure as we are members of the FAA respectfully do not sell firewood by weight.
